Code of Conduct¶

Our Pledge¶

We, as members, contributors, and leaders of the Gym community, pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, nationality, personal appearance, race, caste, color, religion, or sexual identity and orientation.

We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community.

Our Standards¶

Positive Behavior¶

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment:

Being Respectful: Using welcoming and inclusive language
Being Collaborative: Accepting constructive criticism gracefully
Being Empathetic: Showing empathy towards other community members
Being Professional: Focusing on what is best for the community
Being Supportive: Helping newcomers feel welcome

Unacceptable Behavior¶

Examples of unacceptable behavior:

Harassment: Trolling, insulting comments, personal or political attacks
Privacy Violations: Publishing others' private information without permission
Discrimination: Discriminatory jokes, language, or imagery
Disruption: Sustained disruption of discussions or events
Inappropriate Content: Sexual language, imagery, or advances
Professional Misconduct: Other conduct inappropriate in a professional setting

Enforcement¶

Reporting¶

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior:

Contact: conduct@zoo.ngo
Include:
Your contact information
Names of involved parties
Description of incident
Any supporting documentation
Whether the issue is ongoing

Reports are handled confidentially.

Response¶

Community leaders will:

Acknowledge receipt within 24 hours
Investigate all complaints promptly
Determine appropriate response
Communicate decision to all parties
Monitor for retaliation

Consequences¶

Violations may result in:

Warning: Private written warning
Temporary Ban: Temporary ban from community spaces
Permanent Ban: Permanent ban from all community interactions
Legal Action: Involvement of law enforcement if necessary

The severity of consequences depends on: - Nature of violation - History of behavior - Impact on community - Intent and context

Scope¶

This Code of Conduct applies:

In all community spaces (GitHub, Discord, email)
At community events (virtual or physical)
When representing the project publicly
In private communication regarding project matters
